Jim Bussis has been a part of Paul's Pharmacy since 1985, and remembers when Family Fare was next door to Paul's and Rivulet Hurst was across the street. Jim is a Hamilton native and Ferris State College graduate. He is a member of the National Community Pharmacists Association, Michigan Pharmacists Association and Board member of the Compliant Pharmacy Alliance. Jim is married to Jamie, his wife and business partner. They are the parents of three children (all of whom have graduated from more college than their parents) and their spouses: Eric and Stacy, Cara and Karson and Katelyn and Cody. Jim and Jamie have three grandchildren, Ethan, Lydia and Abigail. Jim and Jamie attend Overisel Reformed Church. Jim likes to fish and root for the Tigers and Packers. Jamie likes to spoil her grandchildren as often as possible.
Evie Geurink has been a part of the Paul’s Pharmacy family since starting as a clerk while attending Hamilton High School. She quickly grew to love the mental challenge of the pharmacy and social interaction with Paul’s staff and patients. Evie graduated with honors from Ferris State University College of Pharmacy in 2009. She loves the personal, friendly feel that our independent pharmacy offers. When not at Paul’s, she enjoys trying new recipes, watching crime shows, line dancing and rooting for her husband, Andrew, at the Paul’s Pharmacy softball games. While she loves her job at the pharmacy, her MOST favorite job is being a mommy to and playing with her adorable baby, Mason Robert. Ask her to see a picture next time you are in!
Toni Larson is a native of Coleman, Michigan. She earned her BS in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. While working at the casino to pay tuition, she met her husband, Josh. Then as she was trying to figure out what she REALLY wanted to do with her life, Josh received a job offer in Virginia, where Toni started working as a pharmacy technician. Her passion for helping patients got her into the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy, where she graduated cum laude after having her oldest child during her first year of pharmacy school! Then Toni went on to a Community Pharmacy Residency Program through VCU at Bremo Pharmacy in Richmond, VA. During residency, Toni welcomed her second child (what was she thinking?!?) and graduated from the program, earning the Amy W. Rudenko award, named for one of Toni's first mentors in pharmacy. Toni now enjoys spending time with her family, and is looking forward to getting more involved in the Holland community as well as the Michigan pharmacy community.
